Coppers Bistro

In 2017, the team began construction of Copper Bistro, at Preston Garden Centre. Before hand the garden centre only had a small sandwich stand serving basic food and drink. The owners felt the development of a bistro would increase the amount of customers who came to visit.

Although we didn’t start the build, we were called on to complete the project once the initial block and brickwork was finished and roof was pitched and slated. our first task was to install a timber drop ceiling around the perimeter of the roof, to decrease the ceiling height above some of the tables, in order to take dangling pendants lights.

following this the roof was insulated, wires were installed appropriately to take the lights and sockets, and the build was plaster boarded and skimmed.

A professional industrial kitchen company came in and installed the well used kitchen and counter area. This allowed us to pursue in the finishing work of the build, including the window-cills and skirting and all external slabbing in the courtyard area.

The final product, we’re sure you would agree, is a stunning bistro which indeed has reinvented the garden centre. A Project in which both the owners and ourselves can be proud of.
